I'm bringing Rest and Release back.
Most of us don't know how to rest anymore. We stop moving, and our bodies keep running. We lie down, and our minds keep working. Somewhere along the way, the body learned that it wasn't safe to put anything down.
This is an evening to put it down.
We'll begin with a short time of grounding, then some gentle exercises to help your body notice where it is. Then you'll lie down, covered and comfortable, for about an hour of guided rest. I hold the room in prayer while your body does what it was built to do. When it's time, I'll bring you back slowly.
I'm not going deep into anything specific in this setting, and I won't be looking into your story. This is rest, release, and restore, together, in a small room.
What to know
First Wednesday of every month, 7:00 to 8:30pm
Kalina Creative Sanctuary, 120 N. Washington St., Papillion
$75 per person
Five spots only, and each person gets a thick exercise mat
Come in comfortable clothes you can rest in
Please bring your own pillow and blanket. Most people rest more easily on their own. (I have a few extras if you forget.)
No experience needed, and nothing to prepare
I’ll have water available, or bring your own
Whether you feel a lot, a little, or nothing at all, it's okay. Come tired. Come skeptical. Come as you are.
Take it or leave it. The door is open either way.
